COVID-19 UPDATES  

Due to the lifting of the stay-at-home order and under the recommendations
from the KDA/KDHE, Beurskens Family Dentistry will return to our normal
business hours, effective immediately!
We are BEYOND ready to return to treating our patients and serving our
community in any way that we possibly can!
As always, the health and safety of our patients and staff is of the utmost
importance to us.
In addition to our strict sterilization and disinfectant process, we will
also adhere to an additional set of guidelines for the foreseeable future.

Overview of the new protocols for keeping patients and staff healthy:

1: Upon confirmation OR check in, you will be asked a series of questions
regarding recent travel.

2: If the front door is locked (it most likely will be in the coming
days/weeks), PLEASE GIVE US A CALL. This does NOT mean that we are closed.
Call the office and “check in via phone” or “knock” if the phone is not an
option for you. Also, if possible, we ask that only the patient enter the
office for their appointment. If the patient is a child, we ask that only
one guardian accompany them to their appointment. As always, we understand
that this is not possible in all situations and that there are
circumstances that prevent you from being able to comply with this request.
We are happy to work with you on your individual situation!
We are simply trying to limit the foot traffic in the office as much as
possible.

3: Upon entering the office, you will be escorted to your operatory and
asked to wash your hands with our professional health grade soap.

4: Along with our normal routine of recording your blood pressure, we will
also record your temperature with a temporal thermometer.

5: You will be asked to swish with a pre-procedural mouth rinse to decrease
bacterial count prior to your procedure.

6: After the procedure is complete, you will again be asked to wash your
hands with our professional health grade soap prior to leaving the
operatory.

7: All highly touched surfaces will be FREQUENTLY (even more so than usual)
sanitized with our medical grade disinfectant.

We ask that everyone please be patient and extend us a little grace as we
navigate our new “normal”. The additional disinfectant procedures will take
some time and we may occasionally run a little behind with our schedule.
Please understand that we are doing our absolute BEST to keep you safe,
healthy and maintain a timely schedule for you.
